Course delegates will receive a substantial discount on PAT Testers and accessories after attending our PAT training course. Delegates can also bring any PAT Tester or other test equipment on the day of the course for Calibration and receive a discount.

Instrotech courses start with a demonstration of portable appliance testing procedures, followed by actual hands on PAT training.

Our courses explain the status of pat testing legislation and pat testing legal requirements and the health and safety regulatory framework surrounding portable appliance testing. These include:
• The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999
• The Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
• The Electricity at Work Regulation 1989

There is a discussion about which tests to run and why, as well as an examination of the meaning of the appliance test results.

PAT Courses can be run on your premises or in our air conditioned training room in Watford, 3 minutes from Junction 5 of the M1.

From 1st August 2008:
At our premises (maximum of 10 people):
£189 + VAT per individual delegate.
Each delegate will receive a copy of the IEE Code of Practice instead of the current handout..
On site: £995 + VAT per session on your premises, plus travel (up to 10 delegates).
Extra delegates £100.00 + VAT each (maximum two)
Each delegate will receive a copy of the IEE Code of Practice.

Each delegate receives a personalised PAT training certificate. A lunchtime buffet is provided in Watford. Courses start at 9.30am and finish at about 3.30pm.

PAT courses provide the knowledge, pat training and experience to enable a suitable person to become a competent trained PAT tester. We recommend that following our pat testing course the pat training is put into use as soon as possible.
